HEALTHY LITTLE COOKS, LLC, doing business as Flavor Uma (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Platform Provider”) operates the corporate and educational website located at HealthyLittleCooks.com, the subscription membership platform at HLCMembers.com, including all associated subdomains, mobile-responsive portals, online forms, media upload hubs, digital storefronts, live streaming environments, and administrative dashboards (collectively, the “Platforms”).
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, which includes school coordinators, teachers, parents, legal guardians, corporate sponsors, grantors, and community organizations (collectively, “Users” or “you”). This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how we protect it, how it is utilized, and your legal choices regarding your data.

Exactly zero child or student profiles are permitted or maintained within any sector of our software databases.
1.2 Educational Record Compliance (FERPA): We do not require, request, or store student educational records. Any metrics compiled across our Passport to Wellness institutional modules are completely disassociated from individual student names or identities.
1.3 Media Consent and Upload Affirmation: School Partners, teachers, parents, and community organizations uploading family photographs, contest videos, testimonials, classroom pictures, or other materials represent and warrant that they have obtained all required permissions, consents, and media releases required under their respective local district, institutional, or familial policies. This shifts primary responsibility for consent verification to the uploading entity.
SECTION 2: INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We capture data through two main pathways: data you provide directly to us, and data collected automatically via system processes.
A. Information You Provide Directly
- Account Credentials & Communications: First and last names, corporate/school names, verified institutional or personal email addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted account passwords. We utilize your email address for administrative operations, including digital receipts, password resets, platform updates, customer support interactions, and operational notifications. Optional promotional communications or newsletters include a direct unsubscribe mechanism.
- User-Generated Submissions: Any digital files, community text blocks, contest video entries for The Healthy Kids Cook-Off, cooking photographs uploaded by families, online form submissions, or coordinator messaging screenshots dropped directly into our administrative intake modules.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- System Tracking & Log Data: Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, device hardware types, operating systems, browser architectures, and unique device identity tags logging your interaction frequency with our software environments.
- Telemetry Metrics: System diagnostic telemetry logging active session frequency, master curriculum file download scales, store checkout completions, and direct-to-cart click-through rates (CTR) on recipe interfaces.
- Automated Fraud Detection: Our platform infrastructure utilizes automated systems and processing telemetry to monitor public voting and digital form submissions. - Financial Merchant Processing: All monetary transactions are processed securely through Stripe (or our current merchant processor). Healthy Little Cooks, LLC never stores, logs, or maintains complete payment card numbers. Stripe receives your billing parameters to process transactions securely on our behalf.
- E-Commerce Store & Manufacturing Fulfillment: Custom print-on-demand merchandise is managed via Printify and Shopify, which receive necessary shipping names, physical delivery addresses, and purchase item details to manufacture and ship physical goods.
- Virtual Streaming, Media Hosting, & Telemetry: Tools like Zoom, Vimeo, and YouTube manage embedded live streams or digital recording playbacks and capture event attendance metadata. Systems management software including Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Cloudflare receive infrastructure logs, telemetry, or email lists strictly to facilitate communication deliverability, host encrypted databases, and evaluate technical optimization on our behalf.
SECTION 6: CORPORATE BENEFACTOR & GRANTOR TELEMETRY DISCLOSURE
6.1 Shared Telemetry Scope: To underwrite program delivery lines and keep platform access slots active for sponsored schools, we share program impact portfolios with our corporate partners, founding allies, regional sponsors, and philanthropic grantors. No personal information is sold to sponsors.
6.2 Categorized Allowable Disclosures: Data sharing under this Section is strictly restricted to:
- Aggregated Anonymized Metrics: Grouped telemetry charts detailing total network-wide login frequencies, regional coupon download volumes, public voting interactions, and platform click-through behavior.
- Authorized Family Media Assets: Curated, starred libraries of family cooking photos, testimonials, and recipe submissions. Family media assets are shared only when submitted under the permissions, licenses, and consents described in our Terms of Use or other applicable authorization.
SECTION 7: USER PRIVACY RIGHTS & EXERCISING CHOICES
7.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests: Users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of their personal information, subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the identity of the requesting individual.
7.2 Request Execution Channels: To execute a formal data deletion or profile removal request, please submit your specific directives directly to Compliance@HealthyLittleCooks.com. We process valid, identity-verified data disposal requests within thirty (30) business days.
SECTION 8: DATA RETENTION
We retain profile, metadata, and transactional history as long as an administrative or consumer account remains active. Upon account closure, data is retained only for the timeframe necessary to satisfy historical financial tax reporting guidelines, complete mandatory corporate audits, fulfill active legal obligations, prevent platform fraud, resolve ongoing disputes, or preserve encrypted system backups.
SECTION 9: BUSINESS TRANSFERS
In the event that Healthy Little Cooks, LLC undergoes a strategic corporate transition—including a company merger, capital acquisition, institutional buyout, reorganization, or a complete sale of platform assets (such as Passport to Wellness or Flavor Uma)—user information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a successor privacy policy.

When updates occur, the date at the top of this document will be modified, and an automated banner alert will deploy inside the user interface layouts across HealthyLittleCooks.com and HLCMembers.com.
12.2 Legal Dispute Framework: This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or privacy disputes arising under this agreement must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or nearest to Howard County, Maryland.
